January was for Birthdays part 1

Most people take a break and enjoy the quite of January after the rush of the holidays.  The gift giving season has ended and time to take a breather.

Ah but not for me.  Before we even celebrated the New Year, I got my first "Birthday" notification email through work.   This was followed very closely by the second "Birthday" notification email.  I realizied then I had a total of 4 work birthdays to celebrate in January on top of the Hubby's 40 something Birthday later in the month.

So I went on Pinerest to find a quick and easy something to make for the girls at work and found these cute Homemade Hand Warmers.

In the essence of time, I made mine in a simple square shape.  I also added a terry cloth liner and some lavender oil to the rice.  The girls love these!  It was simple to make, and well recieved.   I will be making these again if a quick gift is needed anytime.

The Hubby's Birthday wasn't so easy.   His birthday landed on a Sunday this year, but it was a weekend he had to work so I didn't plan a whole lot.   On the Saturday I casually tossed out "What do you want for dinner tomorrow?"   The answer I got I was not expecting.   I was thinking he was going to say steak & potato.   He went one step further and asked for Beef Wellington.

Wha-What??? I day to plan Beef Wellington??  Sounds complicated, can I do it???
